Bajaj Auto to Launch New Version of Chetak Electric Scooter in December, Range, Battery

It has features like Bluetooth connectivity, color TFT Instrument Console and Auto Hazard Light through Chetak app. The company had said that the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) has been approved from the Ministry of Heavy Industries of the Central Government for Chetak Premium, Chetak Urbane (3202) and the new Chetak 3201 Special Edition.

Bajaj Auto launched the world’s first CNG -run motorcycle Freedom 125 in July. The company has reduced the price of this motorcycle. Its price has been reduced by Rs 10,000. At its launch, the initial price was around 95,000 rupees (ex-showroom). The cost of running this motorcycle is 50 percent lower than petrol powered motorcycles.

It has sold over 35,000 units since the launch of Freedom 125. However, the company has not given the reason for reducing its price. Its entry-level variant Drum has reduced the price of about Rs 5,000. The company has reduced the price of Freedom 125’s Drum LED variant by up to Rs 10,000. The range of Freedom 125 is about 330 kilometers. It has a two -kilogram CNG tank and a two -liter petrol tank. Its CNG tank is below the seat. It will be available in three variants and seven dual-tone colors of Drum, Drum LED and DISC LED.
