DMRC informed last Friday that it had partnered with beckhaul digital to lay high-speed fiber network. This project is expected to improve connectivity for passengers, so that they will be able to browse internet, access email and use online service without relying on mobile data.
The Beckhall, known for its grip in telecommunications and digital infrastructure, will work as the establishment and maintenance of Digital, Wi-Fi service. It has also been reported that the company will deploy advanced technology to ensure fast, safe and stable connectivity at metro stations.
This step follows DMRC’s previous efforts to launch Wi-Fi service on the Airport Express line and improve network coverage in the metro campus. Certainly with this partnership, Delhi Metro will focus on creating a digitally connected mobility system, which will further convenient the travel of passengers traveling in Delhi Metro in the coming time.
