NASA’s Crew-10 mission was launched on Friday. The Crew-10 mission on the dragon spacecraft was launched from the Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in NASA. Four astronauts have been sent to this mission. These include Astronauts Anne McClain (Commander) and Nichole Ayers (Pilot) Specialists of Mission Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (Jaxa) Astronaut, Takuya Onishi and Russia’s Space Agency Roscosmos’s cosmonott, Kirill Peskov. These astronauts will be entrusted with responsibilities on Williams and Wilmore ISS. After this, both these astronauts will return to the earth.
The spacecraft of Spacex with Williams and Wilmore may leave ISS on Wednesday next week. However, the date of its return flight will depend on the weather conditions. US President Donald Trump and Musk have alleged that former President Joe Biden deliberately postponed the return of both these astronauts.
In June last year, both these Astronauts went to ISS on a few days of mission. However, they were trapped due to technical problems in spacecraft. Williams and Willmore could not return due to the technical problem in Boeing’s Starliner Spacecraft. Starlineer Spacecraft was finding it difficult to reach ISS. The leak of helium from this spacecraft was a very difficult. ISS was commanded by Astronaut Oleg Kononenko of Russia to Williams. A few months ago, Williams shared his views on delay in return to Earth at a video press conference. He described ISS as a ‘happy place’. Williams said that due to his previous experience, adjustment about life in space is not very difficult. However, she admitted that her stay on ISS has some tension but she is focusing on the mission. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) had said that such challenges would be a significant learning for the country’s ambitious Gaganyaan Mission.
