The AFEELA 1 will be available in two trims, with prices starting at $89,900 (about Rs 77 lakh), which includes three years of free membership for some functionality and features. Online reservations are now open on the AFEELA website, for which a fully refundable amount of $200 (approximately Rs 17,100) is being charged. Production is scheduled to begin at a manufacturing plant located in Ohio and sales in California are expected to begin this year, while deliveries could begin by mid-2026.
AFEELA 1’s advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) use 40 sensors including cameras, LiDAR, radar and ultrasonic sensors to monitor the surrounding environment and driving conditions. The system leverages up to 800 TOPS of computing power and an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) with AI technology to deliver advanced driver assist at all stages of perception, prediction and planning, enabling SHM according todriving stress will be reduced and safety will increase. Its range is said to be 300 miles (about 482 kilometers).
Meanwhile, inside the cabin, AFEELA 1 features an interactive personalized agent that enables natural voice interaction, allowing drivers to control various functions in the car and receive activity suggestions. Each passenger can enjoy a variety of apps and content through a sound system and display optimized for each seat. Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound technologies have also been used in the vehicle to deliver a high quality audio experience with immersive sound.
